3 Elements Of A Habit

Aristotle wrote:

“Excellence is an act won by training and habituation. We are what we repeatedly do, therefore, excellence is not an act but a habit”.

What process do you follow when you create a new habit?

In my experience I work best when i place my focus on the creation of ‘New’ habits rather than trying to ‘break’ old habits

Here’s why 👇🏽

By placing your focus on ‘trying to break’ something that you no longer want to experience...

Makes that very thing a BIG part of your awareness

Meaning that a lot of your mental space is consumed by ‘not doing it anymore’

Instead I do this 👇🏽

Place my attention on the new habit I’d like to create therefore meaning my awareness is on ‘forming the new’

Buckminster Fuller said “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete”

How can that relate to your life now? 👇🏽
